Congratulations on your Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation (CTAS) grant award(s).
The FY 2024 CTAS New Grantee Orientation is designed to provide CTAS grant recipients with the tools and guidance necessary to implement and operate funded programs. Sessions will provide information on how to successfully manage your grant, how to use the JustGrants system, fraud awareness, and will provide examples of successful programs. Grantees will have an opportunity to attend Purpose Area specific workshop sessions. These sessions will provide an overview of reporting requirements, points of contact, resources, and assistance available through training and technical assistance providers.
Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:
Please note: The OJP Basic Grants Financial Management Training will be held immediately after the CTAS Orientation closing. This training will take place on January 15 from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM and January 16 from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. This training will satisfy the Financial Management Training requirement for all OJP awards. If you plan to attend this training in addition to the CTAS New Grantee Orientation, please be sure to select this option when registering for CTAS New Grantee Orientation.
Additionally, representatives from JustGrants, OCFO, TFMC and PMT are holding one-on-one mini labs. If you have an interest in speaking with any of these representatives, please be sure to note that during orientation registration.
The grantee/tribe should ensure one Project Manager for each newly awarded FY24* purpose area (PA) participates. Ideally, this individual’s role is to implement and manage the newly awarded project(s). In addition, one Financial Manager per grantee must also participate. One additional Financial Manager per PA may also participate.
Due to meeting space capacity, only one program manager and one financial manager per awarded purpose area will be approved to attend. Additional registrants will be reviewed and approved after all awarded tribes are registered and will be based on seating capacity.
*Should a CTAS awardee from a past year who did not previously participate in the Orientation wish to attend, please contact tribalgrants@usdoj.gov. Determinations will be reviewed and approved based upon capacity.
